My way of painting changes, sometimes very subtly, but continually. The changes take place even when I am busy with completely different issues.  Thus I went from figurative to abstract painting, and am now bringing together both. From time to time I’m still drawn to figurative painting which I extend to photo-realism with the airbrush.  I can’t (and do not want to) deny a hint of surrealism as well as inspiration by Rene Magritte (who I admire as a master of gouache). At the moment I work on contents  inspired by another outstanding artist – Andy Goldsworthy. It is a great pleasure for me to take his works as starting point for new pictures, to play around and let new things grow. The basis for this work is abstract painting, which I mostly do with my hands only. It was Jackson Pollock who inspired me most in this way of painting.
